Abstract/Contents:Dicusses a solution to the problem of year-round playing on golf courses -- overseeding with modern bentgrass. Hillsborough Golf Club is used as an example of the success in using a bentgrass variety, Agrostis canina. Advantages of using bentgrass include better tolerance of winter and drought, and filling in the sward more completely.
