Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of wetting agents and stresses that they should be used preventively, before drought symptoms appear. Offers the following suggestions: Aerate before applying the wetting agent to ensure good penetration, irrigate after application to move agents into the soil, do not increase the recommended dosage, apply a second application 7-10 days after the first, and spot treat areas prone to drying with granules or tablets. |
