| Abstract/Contents: | Describes the process undertaken to prepare The Ohio State University Stadium for the Columbus Crew of the U.S. Major League Soccer for their most important game of the season the day after a Rolling Stones weekend concert on the field. Discusses how American stadiums are switching from synthetic turf to natural and finding that the natural requires much more protection during events. A solution offered is Terraplas, a turf protection system used by more stadiums as they switch to natural grass. |
