| Abstract/Contents: | Presents the results of a study examining the effect of solid-matrix seed priming (SMP) on Kentucky bluegrass seedling emergence and germination. SMP was found to increase seedling emergence and germination speed during the early period of germination. SMP also increased germination under sub-optimal temperature conditions. Under conditions of water stress, response to SMP varied among Kentucky bluegrass cultivars. |
