Describes the problems associated with excessively high seeding rates, including the slower formation of stable turf. Also provides a formula for calculating the appropriate seeding rate for a cultivar. A table provides seeding rate information for a variety of turfgrass species including bentgrass, bluegrass, fescue, and ryegrass. |
