Abstract/Contents:The five cutworm control tips discussed are: avoid emptying mowing baskets or strewing clippings beside putting greens or tees, include a buffer zone around putting greens and tees, use sprayable formulations and treat late in the day, sample for spray timing and to assess effectiveness of treatments, and consider the newer products such as Talstar®, Tempo®, Deltaguard®, Scimitar®, Mach2®, and Conserve SC®.
