Abstract/Contents: | Defines phenology: relating biological events such as flowering to climate and other biological activities occurring at the same time. Discusses how to apply this information to pesticide application. Emphasizes the importance of attacking pests when they are most vulnerable and using indicator plants that have developmental stages similar to those of a particular pest. Also provides information on using temperature to time pesticides and lists several indicator plant species. |
