Abstract/Contents:Presents the results of a study evaluating the effect of various rates of potassium fertilizer on nutrient availability in sand-based, creeping bentgrass golf greens. Soils were tested for potassium, calcium and magnesium content after application of various rates of potassium. Results are discussed in relation to the importance of soil testing in golf green management.
