| Abstract/Contents: | A procedure for testing phenolase activity in seeds with and without husks is described. When it was applied to seeds of seven varieties, Alicja, Primo and Skrzeszowicki showed the strongest activity and Steinacher and Merion the weakest. Comparable results were obtained when seed extracts were classified by Honold's method (See PBA 38, 412). |
