Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the University of Oregon's plans to replace the artificial turf at Autzen Stadium with grass. Since the late 1960's four varsity football teams from the area have been playing Friday night games, but when the turf is replaced the stadium will no longer be available. Also discusses artificial turf causing injuries, but being the best solution for the four high schools in because the weather in the area would make natural grass in the area even more unsafe. |
