Abstract/Contents: | Presents the results of research examining the effects of different golf green construction and establishment techniques on green performance. Greens were established using two different root zone mixes (with and without soil) and two different establishment methods (accelerated and controlled). Summarizes the effects of the treatments on turfgrass cover, color, quality, ball roll, surface hardness, and soil microbe populations. |
