Abstract/Contents: | Announces the completion of organizing a nine-section, self-study curriculum by the Turfgrass Council of North Carolina. The program will certify turfgrass professionals and the six-hour Certified Turfgrass Professional exam will be given four times a year. Also announces that the Town of Carrboro Board of Alderman is considering a ban on pesticide use on town property. The Turfgrass Council of North Carolina has become involved and is gathering facts about Integrated Pest Management to present to the town officials. |
