Abstract/Contents: | Reviews simple water management techniques that landscapers can use while on the job. Techniques discussed include: using a "3-2-1 Test" to gauge how often to water, using a soil probe to determine how deep the water has penetrated, and using drip irrigators effectively. Other strategies discussed include: employing hydrozoning, using a rain gauge to check precipitation, and being observant of stress symptoms. |
