| Abstract/Contents: | Describes how important it is to have a year round plan not just a month by month plan. Also discusses how it is important to keep bowling green surfaces dry and free of frost. Describes how to cut squares to prevent straggly grass, which leads to disease. Describes how verticutting and spreading extra soil might be a good idea on soccer fields. On the horse track it is important to fill in holes where post was replaced by sowing with pre-germinated seed mixed with sand and soil over which would go a Grow Cover. |
