Abstract/Contents:Discusses watersheds and their restoration and protection to stop erosion on slopes. Woody plants also provide good habitat for animals and restores the area. Includes case studies from Kananaskis Highway, Silverhill Airfiel Gully, Massachusetts Turnpike 94.1 EB, Massachusetts Turnpike Mile 79.3, and Greenfield Road cut-slope stabilization. Each case study includes detailed information on what was done to prevent erosion and repairs to the area.
