Abstract/Contents:Discusses accidents that can happen during erosion control construction. Various types of pollution cause problems, such as oil leaks and refueling equipment. There have new guidelines and rules that are discussed. Insurance for the environment and contractors themselves is a must due to the growing number of law suits. Erosion control projects are not under as much government inspection therefore making them harder to control. Also includes information on CYA's and best management practices.
