Abstract/Contents: | Suggests that golf-oriented operations should be taken out of the hands of part-time 'bosses' and given to professional managers' supervisions. One of the ways to do this is to use the Maintenance Management Group or Maintenance Management Service. This is a group that specializes in golf courses and landscape management. The management of the overall golf club are being taken over by private clubs and municipals. Another suggestion is to establish a consolidated department, which establishes standards, trains staff and purchases the equipment. |
