Abstract/Contents: | Compares the quality of Supina bluegrass to that of conventional turfgrasses in highly trafficked areas. Plots were established from seed. Plots evaluated were seeded with Supina bluegrass;or with Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, or perennial ryegrass, alone or in combination. Turf color, quality and density were evaluated. It was concluded that Supina bluegrass provided the best overall turf quality because of its rapid growth and competitiveness. Includes tables of results. |
