Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the requirements to grow bermudagrass. Bermudagrass as compared to bentgrass is cheaper and less suseptable to diseases. Shade is not good for bermudagrass. Winter-kill is something that bermudagrass is suseptable to. Some courses and growers have been growing off-types of bermudagrass which is different colors and texture that they can use for research, try to avoid off-types. Overseeding and nematodes also pose problems for bermudagrass. |
