Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the fact that golf courses need to have trees on their landscape as well as turf. The main problem with course trees is that people don't know how to care for them. One must remember to keep mulch around the base of the tree to help hold in moisture and nutrients. Keeping the soil moist is another key point to remember. At two, five, and eight years pruning should be done to keep the tree with strong branches. |
