Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the process of aeration. Removing small portions of soil in order to improve air flow and the densities of water and nutrients. The reasons for aeration are discussed with experienced turfgrass persons. The best times to aerate cool-season grasses are spring and fall where warm-season grasses should be taken care of in the spring or summer. The right equipment can bring in higher profit and that is what most are aiming for. |
