Abstract/Contents: | Terbutryn at 1.5 kg/ha, applied pre-em. in winter cereals, controlled a wide range of annual broad-leaved weeds and was also effective againstPoa annuaandP.trivialis which are increasingly troublesome in these crops. Galium aparine and Veronica hederifolia were resistant. In this series of Veronica hederifolia were resistant. In this series of trials, spring germinating weeds were not a problem. Details of the response of some 29 weed species to pre-em. terbutryn are listed. |
