Abstract/Contents:Discusses an experiment performed to determine the influence of temperature and leaf wetness duration on gray leaf spot disease development. The study found that gray leaf spot epidemics on tall fescue in southeastern US develop in later July to early August and become severe in mid-August and September causing leaf blight and necrotic patches. The weather data shows that the days were warm and humid during this period in 1997.
