| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses an experiment performed on Kentucky bluegrass cultivars planted at the Joseph Valentine Turfgrass Research Center in University Park, PA. All characteristics were monitored visually. The characteristics that were being evaluated were: quality, seedling vigor, percent living ground cover, color, density, texture, seedheads, and disease ratings. Some of the cultivars with the best seasonal average quality include: SR 2109, Blacksburg North Star, PST-82-42, NJ 1190, and Conni. |
