| Abstract/Contents: | Describes how to solve soil-erosion problems by planting vegetation. Describes the benefits of temporary cover. Also profiles some annual and perennial grasses that are used as temporary grasses. Some of the annual grasses include: annual ryegrass, cereal grains, Sudangrass, Millet and Buckwheat. The perennial grasses included: tall fescue and perennial ryegrass. Includes a table that shows what each grass is good for and the planting dates, cool- or warm-season grass, germination days, and mature height. |
