Abstract/Contents: | Details a study on salinity tolerant grass cultivars. The research was done specifically looking at which grass cultivars of turfgrass would be most salt tolerant in Central Alberta. Color, density and area cover were evaluated on a monthly basis and varied with seasons. The study showed that alkali grasses generally showed a higher salt tolerance when compared with previous trials. |
