Abstract/Contents: | Explains that while spring applications of the insecticides Grub-X, Merit and Mach 2 will control the Japanese beetle grubs that hatch in early summer, it will not control the already-hatched grubs present in the turf in spring. Also suggests that early spring applications of these insecticides may not control European chafer grubs hatched in summer. Suggests that readers make an early summer application of these insecticides in order to control Japanese beetle or European chafer grubs. |
