Abstract/Contents:Presents the results of a study evaluating four different fungicide application schedules for control of brown patch in perennial ryegrass. The fungicide Chipco 26019 Flo was applied every 14, 21, or 28 days beginning June 25. Alternatively, the fungicide was applied according to the recommendations of a weather-based disease forecasting system. Only the 14-day schedule resulted in less than 10% brown patch infection, though the 21-day and forecast-based treatments provided similar results that were significantly different from the untreated control.
