Abstract/Contents:Presents a study to determine the effects of Primo in terms of overseeding establishment of perennial ryegrass in Tifway bermudagrass. "Percent perennial ryegrass establishment was made based on visual estimates on December 13, 1996 and January 22, 1997. Visual estimation was alos used to measure the effect of Primo treatments on turf quality during the study." States that "pretreatment with Primo did favor ryegrass establishment; however, the margin of differences was not as great as in previous years...data collected in this study indicates that treatment with Primo 4 weeks after overseeding would not be a sound recommendation since it appeared to severely impede the establishment of the perennial ryegrass."
