Abstract/Contents:Evaluates several preemergence herbicides for crabgrass control in Kentucky bluegrass and creeping bentgrass. "Dimension (dithiopyr) was monitored in a separate study for safety/phytotoxicity on creeping bentgrass cultivars." Provides a table displaying percent crabgrass cover for each treatment. Dimension did not cause any significant phytotoxicity, but it "did cause all cultivars to exhibit a more blue-gray coloration and this coloration effect was most noticeable with the lighter green cultivars like Emerald."
