| Abstract/Contents: | "Two controlled release liquid nitrogen fertilizers, Coron Liquid (28-0-0) and Tiger Nitro-30 (30-0-0), were evaluated for their performance in comparison to a granular application of water soluble urea. All three products were applied to Penncross Creeping Bentgrass and produced significant colour improvement over the untreated check throughout the experiment. Density ratings for the three treatments were also significantly better. Granular urea produced the highest growth surge after application while the Coron 28-0-0 produced the most consistent growth. Tiger Nitro-30 was intermediate between the others." |
