Abstract/Contents: | Presents a case study of a newly constructed municipal soccer field with severe drainage problems. The problems were caused by the sand layer that was sandwiched between two soil layers, and by the designer's decision to rely on grade alone for drainage. The sand layer had to be removed in order to correct the problem. |
