Abstract/Contents: | Summarizes three golf course superintendents' attitudes toward the use of degree days for pest forecasting. The superintendents interviewed all believe that having a weather station that calculates degree days is valuable, although they do not base pest predictions solely on growing degree days. The superintendents also rank insect concerns above weeds when prioritizing the use of degree-day models. |
