| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses preparation of pond and waste water for use on greens. Describes algae and harmful bacteria which can reside in ponds (e.g. E. coli), and the problems these can cause if transported into soil. States that use of waste water on golf greens is currently the exception to the rule in Germany, although this may change. Emphasizes the necessity of treatment of waste water before usage to eliminate undesirable odors and germs. Supports mixing Biodyozon® with waste water for cost-effective and rapid water preparation, and details construction of a blending system. Details the composition of Biodyozon and how it works. Includes potential advantages if used on sports turf. Also provides an account of a test of Biodyozon, including information on: stand growth and disease occurrence, influence on earthworms, effect on algae, saprophytic nematodes and other soil microogranisms, plant roots, and condition of the seepage water.
