| Abstract/Contents: | Presents and evaluation of tall fescue varieties, which are being used more often by homeowners and professional turf managers. At the Spindleton Research Farm (KY), two variety trials were established in September of 1991 and September of 1992, respectively, each using seedings of ninety-six varieties seeded in three replications. Evaluation results of visual quality (observed monthly from March-October 1992) and percent cover (observed 3/23/92 and 5/27/92) of the first of these tests are included in a table. Evaluations of the second test were to begin in 1993. |
