Abstract/Contents:"It was the objective of this study to quantify the amount of regrowth of bermudagrass and tall fescue when glyphosate treated turf is disturbed by various turf establishment methods at various times after spraying with high or low carrier volumes." A table details percent control of tall fescue and bermudagrass regrowth nine months after fall applied glyphosate and various tillage treatments. "The results at [of] this test indicate that tillage should not be done the day following glyphosate application to obtain maximum control of tall fescue and bermudagrass. This is consistent with the Roundup label recommendations. When treating bermudagrass with Roundup in the fall, tillage does not appear to increase the level of control. Although roto-tilling by itself controlled most of the plants, there was no synergism between roto-tilling or sod cutting and the glyphosate treatment."
