Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the role of the USEPA's Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) in regulating pesticide use. The OPP is empowered by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to make registration decisions after analyzing the possible risks and benefits of pesticides. The OPP's efforts to streamline the progress and its relations with the green industry and the public are discussed. |
