| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the newly-released herbicide Lontrel Turf and Ornamental, from Dow Agrosciences. The active ingredient, clopyralid, has been effective in the control of leguminous weeds. Lists cool- and warm- season turfgrass species which are tolerant to the herbicide, as well as ornamentals on which overtop and directed sprays can be used. Provides precautions for use. Includes a table correlating usage rates with appropriate weeds. |
