Abstract/Contents:Growth responses to nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, and the uptake of nutrients, were found to differ for 3 edaphic ecotypes of C. dactylon occurring naturally at Malla, Shiwalik and Chandigarh. These differences could be correlated to the natural habitat conditions, particularly nutrient availability of the soils, in which the ecotypes occurred.
