Abstract/Contents:Focuses on two species of the Compositae family used in lawn bowling greens: Cotula dioica, used extensively for bowling greens for many years, and Cotula maniototo, which has not yet been widely used, but appears very promising as a companion or substitute. Discusses slow greens, mowing, and vegetative damages. Describes advantages of Cotula, such as wear tolerance, ability to be used in dampness or light rain, better growth in the summer, and tolerance of temperature stress. Briefly mentions management, pests, weeds, cultural practices, diseases and fungi.
