| Abstract/Contents: | "Twenty-six standard blends of up to five varieties of perennial ryegrass were compared by bulk seed storage protein electrophoresis with 389 slightly differing test blends to study what kind of differences could be verified and to determine the level of detection. When a visual differentiation of the banding patterns within a gel was not possible a densitometric evaluation was made. In 99% of the cases the minimum level of detection possible was with a level of 5% seeds not true to variety and in 1% of the cases with a level of 10%." |
