Abstract/Contents:Evaluates "the ecological effect of introducing a high concentration of a biological control organism into the turfgrass environment ... P. [Pseudomonas] aureofaciens was applied nightly to an established creeping bentgrass through the existing irrigation system ... The effect of P. aureofaciens applications on the indigenous bacterial community was most pronounced in the turfgrass canopy." Phoresis results suggest that the affected member of the community is from the family Cytophagaceae."
