Abstract/Contents: | Two 0.5-acre plots on the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad were treated with tebuthiuron on 14 April and 24 May 1977 and assessed on 13 Sept. Tebuthiuron at 2 lb/acre applied in April provided 95% control of Poa compressa and 97% overall control of vegetation. For the later treatment twice as much chemical was required to achieve the same result. |
