Abstract/Contents:"A creeping bentgrass turf evaluation trial was seeded 3 Oct 96 near Rolesville, NC. The trial consisted of commercially available and experimental cultivars seeded into 4' x 6' plots at a rate of 1 lb./1000ft². The rootzone was 10" of sand. Experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replications. The trial received 8 lb N/1000 ft²/yr. Plots were mowed at 0.130" five times/wk. Irrigation was applied at a rate of 1"/wk in absence of rainfall. No fungicides were applied during Jan-Jun. Dollar spot disease symptoms appeared from Feb-Jun and were rated three times. Significant differences in dollar spot susceptibility existed among cultivars."
