Abstract/Contents:Discusses three experiments: "Experiments 1 and 2 were screenings of herbicides for control of moss," and "Experiment 3 was established to investigate the effects of cultivation and fertility on the competitiveness of moss in an ecosystem with bentgrass." Results indicate that oxadiazon provided good activity and control on moss but caused "severe turf injury that would not be acceptable to the golfer or superintendent." The results from Experiment three were not analyzed for the report.
