Abstract/Contents:Discusses the use of x-rays to "locate soil insects and earthworms in the soil and see how they respond to such typical properties as soil texture and compaction as well as changes in soil moisture and soil temperature. The response of scarab grubs to the various soil insecticides can also be monitored through this technique."
