| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses an experiment in 1984 in which various fine fescue cultivars were evaluated for overall turf quality, color and incidence of red thread. Results indicated that "Weekend chewings fescue...produced a fine, dense turf of good color and better than average resistance to Red Thread disease and, Crystal hard fescue...also produced a good solid turf with exceptional freedom from Red Thread disease." |
