Abstract/Contents: | Responds to a reader's question about why golf course fairways in the Carolinas tended to have little bermudagrass after the spring transition in 1999 even though the previous winter was mild. Provides reasons for this phenomenon, and suggests agronomic ways to avoid poor spring transition. |
