Abstract/Contents:"Criconemoides sp., Helicotylenchus sp., Meloidogyne sp. and Pratylenchus sp. were found in soil samples from bermudagrass putting greens. Trichodorus sp. and Helicotylenchus sp. were most frequently associated with samples from creeping bentgrass greens. There were no symptoms of nematode damage on any of the greens sampled. Nematode counts from chlorotic spots and from normal turf on the same greens revealed no correlation between population density of plant-parasitic nematodes in or outside the affected areas."
