Abstract/Contents:Discusses the characteristics of several warm-season turfgrasses including buffalograss, bermudagrass, zoysiagrass and centipedegrass. Evaluates these turfgrasses in the colder climate of New Jersey for overall turf quality, spring green-up, percent cover, and color. "Many of the grasses planted in these trials did not survive the environmental conditions of New Jersey."
